ATH and ATL

ATH (All-Time High) and ATL (All-Time Low) are two acronyms that refer to a particular cryptocurrency's highest and lowest historical prices.

ATH means "All-Time High," the highest price a particular cryptocurrency has ever reached. For example, if the price of Bitcoin reaches a new highest point, it is said to have reached a new ATH. Investors who bought at the previous ATH will see their investments appreciate in value if a new ATH is reached, making it an important metric to track.

ATL, on the other hand, stands for "All-Time Low." This is the lowest price that particular crypto has ever reached. For example, if the price of Ethereum reaches a new lowest point, it is said to have reached a new ATL.

ATH and ATL can be used to indicate the performance of a specific cryptocurrency. If a crypto asset is approaching its ATH, it may indicate that the market is optimistic about its future. Conversely, if a cryptocurrency approaches its ATL, it may signify that the market is bearish about its future potential.

It's essential to underline that these terms are not only restricted to crypto. You can also find these acronyms regarding any asset, including stocks, commodities, etc.

These two values can be excellent indicators to take into consideration to make or not an investment decision.
